I’m Lauren, a Realtor® with Coldwell Banker Advantage, specializing in the market and neighborhoods across Southern Wake County (but knowledgeable in all of Wake County as well as Johnston and Harnett Counties).

Born and raised in New York, I came to North Carolina about ten years ago, having searched across the country for the best place to raise my children. After researching schools, taxes, and housing prices, I settled on Holly Springs due to the obvious growth potential, and I’ve worked to make myself an expert in this part of the market.

With a degree in history, my career began in teaching, then transitioned quickly into negotiating high-dollar settlements with the State of New York’s worker’s compensation division. During this time, a friend touted purchasing rental properties as the best investment he’d made so I began to research and purchase homes for flipping. The adrenaline rush from the transformation and from having offers accepted fueled the fire and became the start of a new career path. Being an agent allows me to both guide clients through this process and also live vicariously.

Real estate is deeply personal to my clients, and, as a result, to me as well. I make sure I get to know my clients personally and pay special attention to which details are important to them. I consider listing homes my specialty, working closely with a home stager so sellers can take pride in making their home show-ready.

In my spare time, I love working out – everything from lifting weights to CrossFit. New Year’s Day 2019 was the first time I ever set foot in a gym, and now my day is incomplete until I lift weights, run, or break a sweat.

After completing my first Spartan Race in February 2019, I have averaged one race each month, challenging myself to complete one more obstacle than the time before. Running has allowed me to travel – my favorite trips being Hawaii and Greece – and I’ve developed lasting friendships with many inspiring people I’ve met.

Running – like real estate – is about the process, surmounting the challenges, and building relationships along the way. Selling and buying homes are emotional processes, and my clients find me skilled at blending being a professional with offering a shoulder to lean on when necessary.
